ém'ane – The softness of donkey milk for your skin

ém'ane is a craft cosmetics company using donkey milk, sourced directly from our dairy donkey farm. The milk is carefully collected, processed on-site, and incorporated into products designed with respect for both the animal and the environment.

Founded in 2009 by Cécile BOUDON, the company now has around twenty residents and offers, via its online store emane.fr , a wide range of soaps and cosmetic treatments made with donkey milk.

 

Donkey milk: a treasure for the skin

Naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential fatty acids, donkey milk is known for its exceptional benefits, particularly for sensitive or problem skin (eczema, psoriasis, etc.). It combines purifying, regenerative and protective properties.

Main benefits of donkey milk:

• Vitamin E : protects and nourishes the skin.
• Vitamin A : Promotes cell renewal, softens and smooths the skin while reducing the effects of aging.
• Vitamin C : strengthens skin defenses and protects against external aggressions (sun, pollution, tobacco, etc.)
• Omega 3 & 6 : deeply restructure the skin. Their concentration depends on the donkeys' diet.
• Lactose : hydrates and softens the skin.

Moisturizing and restorative, it is suitable for all skin types and is particularly beneficial for dry, reactive, or mature skin. A true natural tightener, it helps prevent skin aging and promotes epidermal regeneration.

 

Our range of soaps

At ém'ane, we are committed to offering the most natural products possible. The vegetable oils we use are selected for their properties and are, for the most part, odorless and colorless to preserve the purity of donkey milk. They are also sourced organically.

Our convictions

• Respect for animals : sustainable breeding, several hectares of natural meadows, care based on homeopathy and herbal medicine.
• Protection of donkeys : each newborn is registered at the national stud farms and declared unfit for consumption to guarantee its protection.
• Zero animal testing : in accordance with European regulations, our products are never tested on animals.

 

The story of Ém'ane

The adventure began in 2009 with the arrival of five donkeys from different backgrounds. After 12 to 13 months of gestation – a time of sweet anticipation – the first foals were born in the spring of 2010.
In September of that same year, the first milkings marked the true beginning of the company. Since then, the story continues, always driven by passion and respect for animals...
